Every story on NewsFellow goes through the same verification discipline before it is published.
Our process
- Primary sources first. We base reporting on official documents — stock-exchange filings, regulator publications (DGCA, FAA, EASA, ICAO), accident investigation reports, airline and manufacturer statements — rather than second-hand accounts.
- Two-source rule. Claims that do not come from a primary document must be supported by at least two independent, credible sources before we publish them.
- Numbers are traced. Financial figures, order counts, traffic statistics and safety data are checked against the original report they come from, and that report is cited.
- Quotes are verbatim. Quotations are reproduced exactly and attributed. We do not clean up or paraphrase inside quotation marks.
- Sources are shown. Each article ends with a Sources section so readers can verify our work themselves.
What we don't do
We do not publish rumours as fact, we do not speculate on the causes of accidents under investigation, and we do not use AI-generated "facts" — automated tools may assist with drafting, but every factual claim is verified by a human editor against the sources listed.
